When it is necessary to plan a buffer space to absorb the fast pressure variations, especially when the solenoids are situated after a B type regulator, the piping volume from the regulator to the consumption point has to be at least equal:
- in BP (21, 27, 37 mbar) to 1/500 of the regulator nominal flow
- in MPA (300 mbar) to 1/1000 of the regulator nominal flow
